French President Macron Calls for Immediate Opening of Gaza Corridor

Macron highlighted that even after the ceasefire, the situation in Gaza remains extremely fragile.

Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron has urged Israel to immediately open a corridor for humanitarian aid to Gaza.

According to international news agencies, Macron emphasized the urgent need for humanitarian assistance, saying that millions of lives are at stake. He stressed that opening the corridor to Gaza has become unavoidable as large stocks of food are waiting at the border but are not allowed to enter. Children are dying of hunger while aid remains blocked.

Macron highlighted that even after the ceasefire, the situation in Gaza remains extremely fragile. He said France, along with its European, Arab, and American partners, insists on reopening the route to Gaza without delay to ensure the delivery of food, aid, and basic necessities.

He further stated that France is committed to all possible diplomatic and practical efforts to provide assistance to the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, the United Nations and other global aid organizations have warned that humanitarian supplies in Gaza are running dangerously low, and without a permanent ceasefire, the lives of civilians remain at serious risk.
