Four Indian Cricketers Suspended Over Corruption Allegations
The alleged incidents took place during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
NEW DELHI: Four domestic Indian cricketers have been suspended over alleged corruption, according to Indian media reports. The Assam Cricket Association announced the suspensions after the players were reportedly involved in corrupt activities during domestic cricket.
The alleged incidents took place during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The suspended players are Amit Sinha, Ishan Ahmed, Aman Tripathi, and Abhishek Thakre.
The Assam Cricket Association stated that the suspended players tried to influence and manipulate current Assam team members. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was held from November 26 to December 8. Additionally, an FIR has been filed against the suspended cricketers with the Guwahati Crime Branch.

According to reports, the four cricketers are barred from participating in any cricketing activities at any level and will remain suspended until the investigation is completed.
