Foreign Pacer Finally Joins Peshawar Zalmi for PSL 2025

Peshawar Zalmi currently sit fourth in the PSL standings with two wins and three losses.

ISLAMABAD: Young Bangladeshi fast bowler Nahid Rana has officially joined Peshawar Zalmi for the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, marking his debut in an overseas franchise tournament.

Rana, who was initially unavailable due to his commitment to the Bangladesh Test squad for the Zimbabwe series, has now completed his national duties and is set to make his PSL debut under the leadership of Pakistan captain Babar Azam.

Rana expressed his excitement about the new opportunity at the airport before his departure. “Alhamdulillah, it feels great. This is my first time going abroad to play in a franchise league. It’s definitely a new experience. I will try to learn new things. I don’t set my goals beforehand; I will try to perform well match by match,” he said.

Peshawar Zalmi currently sit fourth in the PSL standings with two wins and three losses. Rana’s inclusion is expected to bolster their bowling attack as they aim to improve their position in the tournament.

Fans and cricket experts alike will be keen to see how the young pacer adapts to the high-pressure environment of the PSL and contributes to Zalmi’s campaign.
