FM Dar holds separate phone contacts with counterparts of Norway, Bahrain, Egypt

Dar speaks with FMs of Norway, Bahrain and Egypt amid rising Middle East tensions

Norway – Pakistan – (Web Desk) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar reached out to Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide over the phone, where the two leaders exchanged views on the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East and surrounding region.

In a separate call earlier in the day, Dar also connected with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Zayani. Both officials voiced serious concern over the worsening regional situation, as confirmed by the Foreign Office spokesperson.

Foreign Office Spokesperson said the ongoing issues in the UN Security Council were also discussed. The parties stressed the importance of establishing peace and stability.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has held telephone conversation with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and discussed the latest regional developments. Both the leaders underscored the need for de-escalation and dialogue. They also agreed to stay closely engaged as the satiation evolves.
