Islamabad: (Saba Akhtar) Radio Pakistan is converting its FM-94 Dhanak channel into a dedicated sports channel to meet longstanding demand of its listeners.
Furthermore the decision was taken during a visit by Director General, Tahir Hassan to the channel.
Moreover Director General was informed that Radio Pakistan listeners have been demanding a separate sports channel and decision to materialize this demand will go a long way in catering the listeners.
It will also play a proactive role in promotion of different sports in the country.
Meanwhile the Director General directed that updates on the ongoing T20 World Cup must be ensured from this channel from Thursday.
