Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson Confirm 2026 Exhibition Showdown for Boxing Fans Worldwide
US – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) -Boxing legends Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Mike Tyson will face each other in an exciting exhibition fight next spring, organizers announced Thursday. The event is being arranged by CSI Sports / Fight Sports, with the exact date and location to be revealed soon.
“Iron” Mike Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) last secured a professional win in 2003 with a TKO victory over Clifford Etienne. In the past 22 years, Tyson has fought four times, with three losses and one draw. His most recent appearance was against Jake Paul in November 2024, where he lost by unanimous decision. This upcoming bout will not affect his official professional record.
Floyd “Money” Mayweather, undefeated with a 50-0 record, retired after his TKO win against Conor McGregor in August 2017. Since then, he has taken part in four exhibition matches, achieving three wins and one draw.

In a press statement, Tyson shared his excitement:
“When CSI came to me about fighting Floyd Mayweather, I thought, ‘No way this happens,’ but Floyd said yes.”
Mayweather also expressed confidence in the event:
“I’ve been in boxing for 30 years, and nothing can tarnish my legacy. If I do something, it’s big and legendary. I’m the best in the business, and this exhibition will give fans what they want.”
CSI Sports co-founders Richard and Craig Miele said more details about the weight class and venue will be shared in the coming months.
“We’re planning a strong promotional campaign with premium weekly storytelling and global marketing,” they added.
“The event will be held at a world-class venue with advanced technology that will change how boxing is presented and scored in the future.”
