Heavy Rains Trigger Sudden Flooding, Forcing Dozens of Families to Evacuate to Safer Places.
Gilgit Baltistan – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) -Local leaders said heavy rains caused sudden floods in the Daril Valley early Friday morning. The rushing water severely damaged at least twenty houses. Sadly, five of these homes were completely destroyed.
The floods also ruined farmers’ crops and knocked down many trees. The area’s assistant commissioner confirmed the damage. He also shared concerns about flooding in other nearby areas.

Thankfully, many families saw the flood coming and were able to escape to safety. Dozens of people quickly moved to higher ground to avoid the rising water.
