Five Terrorists Killed, Two Arrested in KP Security Operations: ISPR
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the terrorists
Rawalpindi — In a major counterterrorism effort, Pakistan’s security forces neutralized five terrorists and apprehended two during three separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 30 April and 1 May 2025, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
According to ISPR, the first operation took place in Bajaur District, where three terrorists, including a high-value target identified as Fareed Ullah, were killed following an intense exchange of fire.
In a second operation in the Dossali area of North Waziristan, two more terrorists were gunned down by security forces.
The third encounter occurred in Mohmand District, where two militants, including another high-value target, Lal Ameer alias Ibrahim, were apprehended during a raid on their hideout.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the terrorists, who were reportedly involved in several acts of terrorism.

The ISPR further stated that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats, reaffirming the security forces’ resolve to eradicate terrorism and ensure lasting peace across the country.
