Five Killed, Including Four Levies Personnel, in Dera Ismail Khan Shooting
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the tragic event
Islamabad – A deadly shooting incident in Dera Ismail Khan resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including four Levies personnel. The incident occurred in the Daraban Tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan when the Levies personnel, accompanied by a private driver, were on a mission to recover a stolen truck.
According to the Assistant Commissioner, the group was targeted by unidentified assailants who opened fire, causing the vehicle to catch fire. The bodies of the deceased Levies officers were later transferred to the Daraband Hospital for post-mortem.
The victims, including the Levies personnel and the private driver, are reported to be from Qila Saifullah, Balochistan. In response to the attack, local police have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation to apprehend the culprits.
