First Hajj Flight to Depart on May 1, 179,210 Pakistani Pilgrims Set to Perform Hajj

Detailed flight schedule is expected to be released by April 10.

ISLAMABAD: The first Hajj flight from Pakistan is scheduled to depart for Saudi Arabia on May 1, as confirmed by sources from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The Hajj operation will continue for 30 days, with the last flight set to depart on May 30.

According to the sources, the detailed flight schedule is expected to be released by April 10. A total of five airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Saudi Airlines, will participate in the Hajj operation this year.

Under the government scheme, approximately 89,000 Pakistani pilgrims will travel to the holy sites, with a total of 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims expected to perform Hajj this year. The Ministry of Religious Affairs is making arrangements to ensure a smooth and efficient journey for the pilgrims.
