Election appointments stall amid political crisis over candidate ban.
The warehouse, located near the Taj Complex, was storing firecrackers, which fuelled the intense fire. Karachi traffic police have closed MA Jinnah Road to all traffic. They are diverting vehicles coming from Numaish towards Society Signal and Ali Raza Imambargah. Officials advise citizens to call the helpline 1915 for alternate routes to avoid delays.
