Fire breaks out at Lahore’s Hafeez Centre

The videos shared on social media showed heavy smoke rising from the building.

LAHORE: ISLAMABAD: A huge fire broke out in Lahore’s Hafeez Center, a multi-story building of a mobile market in Gulberg area, on Thursday afternoon, engulfing several shops and offices.

As per details, around five fire brigade vehicles are busy extinguishing the blaze, which is in the basement of the building.

The videos shared on social media showed heavy smoke rising from the building.

The Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that the fire erupted in the lower portion of the building, and fire brigade teams are currently working to bring the situation under control.

Officials said that the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and no immediate reports of injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
