Finance Minister Aurangzeb Heads to US for IMF and World Bank Meetings

High-level discussions with global financial leaders and key counterparts on the agenda.

Islamabad-(Mudassar Iqbal)- Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has departed for the United States to participate in the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank.

World Bank Reports Delays in Dasu Hydropower Project

According to reports released early Monday, Aurangzeb is scheduled to meet with high-ranking officials from both the IMF and the World Bank. He will also engage in discussions with his counterparts from China, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey.

In addition, the finance minister will hold talks with representatives from international credit rating agencies and commercial banks.

Aurangzeb is also expected to attend investment forums and seminars during his trip. Furthermore, he will engage with media representatives based in the United States.
