FIFA chief commits to repair all football facilities in Gaza.
FIFA president pledges to rebuild Gaza's football infrastructure to bring hope and unity through the beautiful game.
FIFA – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, has promised to rebuild all the football facilities in Gaza. He made this announcement after a new ceasefire began. He was speaking at a major peace conference in Egypt.
The summit was led by the US and Egyptian presidents. Its main goals were to support the new truce, help end the long war, and create a plan to rebuild Gaza and bring stability.
Many important leaders attended the event. This included officials from Muslim and Arab nations, as well as top figures from Europe and the United Nations.
It was unusual to see the head of a sports organization at such a high-level political meeting. His presence highlighted the important role football can play beyond the field.
Infantino explained that football’s job is to support people, bring them together, and offer hope. He stated that FIFA will work with the Palestinian Football Association to bring the game back to every community.
The plan includes providing footballs, building new fields, and sending coaches. FIFA will also help set up local competitions and start a special fund to pay for rebuilding the sport’s infrastructure in Palestine.
He mentioned that FIFA already helps through programs that build small pitches. Infantino said he wants the whole world to contribute because football gives children something very precious: hope.
The FIFA leader also praised the part played by the US President. He said his leadership was absolutely essential to making the peace process happen.
He credited the US President for breaking down walls and building bridges between people. He also thanked other countries in the region for their support, but emphasized the crucial leadership that made the peace agreement possible.

In a separate online message, Infantino thanked the US President for the invitation to the summit. He told the world leaders that FIFA is ready to help in any way it can to ensure the peace process is successful.
FIFA has been under pressure to take action because of the war. Palestinian officials have asked for Israel to be banned from international football.
Recently, the human rights group Amnesty International also sent a letter. It asked FIFA and European football officials to suspend Israel’s football association.
FIFA has been studying this issue for a long time but has not made a decision. Infantino has said these decisions must be made carefully and with broad agreement.
Another senior FIFA official recently said that a decision about Israel playing in European competitions is for UEFA to make. This puts the responsibility on the European football body.
Just last week, Infantino said that football cannot solve wars. However, he stressed that the sport must always promote a message of peace and unity, especially during difficult times around the world.
