Field Marshal Asim Munir Meets Azerbaijan Defence Minister to Boost Bilateral Defence Cooperation

Field Marshal Munir lauded the strong and enduring bilateral relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan

Rawalpindi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of Pakistan, held a significant meeting with Colonel General Hasanov Zakir Asgar Oglu, Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan, in Lachin, Azerbaijan.

The high-level talks focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security challenges, and exploring avenues to deepen defence collaboration between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. Both leaders underscored the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.

Field Marshal Munir lauded the strong and enduring bilateral relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to enhancing defence ties, fostering greater military cooperation, and building on the existing partnership.
