Field Marshal Asim Munir Calls Balochistan Key to Pakistan’s Prosperity
Field Marshal Lauds Balochistan’s Patriotism, Urges Economic Development
Rawalpindi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that Balochistan holds a pivotal position in Pakistan’s prosperity and development, adding that the province’s economic potential is being harnessed through public welfare–oriented policies.
According to ISPR, participants of the 18th National Workshop Balochistan visited the General Headquarters (GHQ), where they met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. During the workshop, discussions focused on Balochistan’s socio-economic development and its strategic importance.
Addressing the participants, the Field Marshal praised the patriotism, resilience, and steadfastness of the people of Balochistan. He expressed satisfaction over people-friendly development initiatives undertaken by the federal and provincial governments and stressed the need to utilize Balochistan’s economic potential for the benefit of its people.
He further stated that civil society plays a crucial role in countering propaganda and promoting sustainable development. Rejecting personal and politically motivated agendas, he said such approaches must be discouraged for a brighter future of Balochistan.

Field Marshal Asim Munir also said that India-backed proxy elements are attempting to create instability in Balochistan, adding that the security forces will thwart all hostile designs through decisive actions.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to regional peace and stability, warning that any violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity would be met with a strong and decisive response. He emphasized that the armed forces of Pakistan remain fully committed to safeguarding the lives and property of the people.
The session concluded with an extensive question-and-answer segment, during which the Field Marshal responded to queries from the workshop participants.
