Sona Welfare Foundation Unveils Landmark PKR 236 Million CSR Initiatives
SWF Partners with OTF and PPAF to Boost Education and Healthcare Access
SWF – (Web Desk) – Sona Welfare Foundation (SWF), under the FFC CSR initiative Pakistan, has launched two major programs worth PKR 236 million to support education and healthcare. Announced on April 29, 2026, these initiatives aim to help underserved communities across Sindh, KPK, and Punjab by improving access to quality education and essential health services.
SWF introduced the Integrated Health, Rehabilitation and Inclusive Education Initiative in partnership with PPAF, along with the OTF x SWF Scholarship Program in collaboration with OTF. These programs will provide fully funded scholarships to students for any degree at recognized universities, while also delivering specialized healthcare and rehabilitation services to those in need. The goal is to remove both financial and physical barriers that limit growth and opportunity.
The launch event brought together key leaders including Jahangir Piracha, MD & CEO of FFC and Chairman of SWF; Nadir Barech, CEO of PPAF; and Omer Mateen Allahwala, CEO of Global OTF. Their presence highlighted a shared vision to uplift rural and semi-urban communities through sustainable development efforts.
Air Commodore (Retd) Syed Farooq Ahmed Bokhari, COO of SWF, emphasized the importance of community development. He explained that investing PKR 236 million into these programs will help young people break the cycle of poverty. By supporting education and healthcare, the initiative aims to build stronger, more self-reliant communities across Pakistan.
Through these impactful efforts, Sona Welfare Foundation continues to set high standards in social investment, ensuring a brighter and more inclusive future for the nation.
