Female’s job with fake degree scandal rocks Sindh Public Service Commission

KARCHI: The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) disqualified a candidate after it was revealed that her degree was fake, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The candidate, Amara Khanzada, had passed the SPSC examination and was declared eligible for a Grade-17 post in the Livestock Department.
According to SPSC spokesperson Hafizullah Kaka, action was initiated after the issue surfaced on social media.
He said the matter was formally investigated, and the Controller of Examinations at Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, confirmed that the submitted degree was indeed fake.
Following the university’s confirmation, the commission imposed a strict penalty on the candidate.
Under the rules, Amara Khanzada has been banned for five years and will not be eligible to apply for any post during this period.

The SPSC stated that there is no room for fraud, forgery, or misrepresentation in the commission’s recruitment process, and legal proceedings against the candidate have been launched.
