Federal Minister Pledges Full Support for Saudi Investment in Pakistan

Pak-Saudi-(Special Correspondent): Federal Minister for Investment, Privatization, and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, held an in-depth discussion on the progress and future of Pak-Saudi investment partnerships.

In a follow-up meeting with Saudi Deputy Minister of Investments, Ibrahim Al Mubarak, the two officials explored potential joint ventures, building on the recent visit of a Saudi delegation to Pakistan. Minister Abdul Aleem Khan thanked Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih for his support in enhancing investment avenues between the two countries.

The discussions covered various Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and fields of shared interest, with both sides agreeing to finalize practical steps to advance these initiatives.

Saudi officials invited Minister Abdul Aleem Khan to attend the Saudi Arabia Expo scheduled for November 25-26, underlining Saudi Arabia’s commitment to reinforcing its economic ties with Pakistan.

Minister Khan assured full support to facilitate Saudi investments in Pakistan, emphasizing that the investment agenda would be pursued with concrete, measurable outcomes.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, along with senior officials such as the Federal Secretary of Commerce and the Secretary of the Privatization Commission, joined the virtual meeting to share insights and strengthen commitment toward achieving investment results between the two nations.
