Government okays Rs2,500 Monthly Allowance for Equivalent Degrees
ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter) – The federal government has approved a monthly allowance of Rs2,500 for government employees holding MPhil-equivalent qualifications.
According to the decision, employees possessing MPhil degrees and equivalent qualifications will be eligible for the monthly allowance.
The Rs2,500 MPhil allowance is already being paid to employees holding MPhil degrees, while the latest decision extends the benefit to those with equivalent qualifications.
The decision will take effect from July 17, 2026, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance.
