Federal Cabinet Meets at 3 pm to Discuss Crucial Constitutional Amendments
Islamabad-The Federal Cabinet, presided over by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, will convene today (Sunday) at 3 pm to review the package of constitutional amendments. The meeting was originally scheduled for 11 am but has been rescheduled.
The cabinet will assess the country’s overall political and economic situation, as well as the proposed amendments. Federal Ministers Mohsin Naqvi and Azam Nazeer Tarar will brief the cabinet members on their meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), and discuss his demands.
