FBR Misses Tax Collection Target for 10 Months by a Huge Margin
FBR Faces Rs. 118 Billion Shortfall Despite Rs. 845 Billion Collection in April
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has suffered a massive shortfall of Rs. 821 billion during the July-April period of 2024-25.
According to the FBR data, FBR has collected Rs. 9,309 billion during July-April (2024-25) against the target of Rs. 10,130 billion, reflecting a shortfall of Rs. 821 billion.
Till now, the FBR has collected Rs. 845 billion in April 2025 against the assigned target of Rs. 963 billion, reflecting an increased shortfall of Rs. 118 billion.
