Farhan’s Stellar Century Sets Islamabad United a 244-Run Target Against Peshawar Zalmi

Sahibzada Farhan scored his maiden PSL century, hitting 106 runs off 52 balls

Rawalpindi: In the fifth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Islamabad United posted a massive target of 244 runs for Peshawar Zalmi.

The match, being played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, saw Islamabad United win the toss and opt to bat first. Despite losing an early wicket, a brilliant partnership of 144 runs between Sahibzada Farhan and Colin Munro laid the foundation for a big total.

Sahibzada Farhan scored his maiden PSL century, hitting 106 runs off 52 balls, including 5 sixes and 13 boundaries. Colin Munro contributed with 40 runs, while Azam Khan (16), Salman Ali Agha (30), Jason Holder (20), and Ben Dwarshuis (18) provided valuable runs, ensuring their team reached a formidable total.

Peshawar Zalmi’s Hussain Talat and Alzarri Joseph claimed two wickets each in the bowling department.

Both teams made changes to their squads for the match. Peshawar Zalmi replaced Max Bryant with George Linde, while Islamabad United brought in Saad Masood and Ben Dwarshuis for Muhammad Shahzad and Riley Meredith.
