ISLAMABAD: Pakistani singer and actor Farhan Saeed has firmly stated that while he values his Indian fans and friendships, he will always stand by Pakistan if his country is under attack.
Speaking in a recent interview, Farhan addressed criticism he has faced online from some Indian followers. He said, “Most of my fans are in India because of Suno Chanda, Mere Humsafar, my songs, and my visits there. But if they think I will never say Pakistan Zindabad, I feel sorry for them. Saying Pakistan Zindabad does not mean I hate India. I will always say Pakistan Zindabad, and if my country is at war, my country is all I have. Art has no boundaries.”
Farhan emphasized that political hostility ultimately harms those spreading it, stating, “They are doing something wrong; in the end, they are hurting themselves… But that does not make me anti-India. I have met some of the best people in India.”

Farhan also spoke about the popularity of Pakistani content in India, noting that despite restrictions on platforms like Netflix, Indian audiences continue to watch Pakistani dramas due to their emotional depth and storytelling.
