Karachi: Faisal Gymkhana and Rising Star Cricket Club have progressed to the quarterfinals of the S.M. Adil Zone-IV Inter Club Cricket Tournament after impressive victories in their respective matches, organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi Zone-IV.
In the first match, Faisal Gymkhana defeated Model Cricket Club by 9 wickets. Model CC posted 131 all out in 30.5 overs, with Daniyal Niazi scoring 61 runs (5×4, 4×6) and Mohib Abbas contributing 20 runs. Faisal Gymkhana chased the target in just 23.2 overs, scoring 135/1. Waleed Ahmed starred with an unbeaten 66 (4×4, 2×6) alongside Aun Abbas’ 51 not out, earning Waleed Ahmed the Man of the Match award for his performance.

In the second match, Rising Star Cricket Club beat Sindh Rana Cricket Club by 7 wickets. Sindh Rana CC scored 169 all out in 27 overs, with Rafi Ullah making 46 (7×4, 1×6), Shafi Agha 40 (4×4, 2×6), and Shayan Khan 23. Rising Star CC reached the target in 21 overs, scoring 170/3. Afnan Khan smashed a brilliant 100 runs off 57 balls (8×4, 5×6) and received the Man of the Match award for the second time, while Owais Abbasi contributed 34 not out and Asad Iqbal 19 runs.
