Explosion on Railway Track Causes Jafar Express Derailment in Mastung
The Jafar Express is a major passenger train connecting Peshawar and Quetta.
QUETTA: Quetta police reported that an explosion on the railway track in Mastung’s Spezand area caused four bogies of the Jafar Express to derail on Monday. The train was traveling from Peshawar to Quetta at the time of the incident.
According to authorities, the blast occurred as the Jafar Express was passing through Spezand, damaging a section of the railway track and resulting in the derailment of multiple bogies.

Three passengers sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to Quetta for medical treatment. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported so far.
