An explosion at a scrap metal shop in Mardan injures three people, with police now investigating the incident's cause.
Mardan – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk)- Three people were hurt when an old grenade went off at a scrap metal shop in Mardan. Police confirmed the explosion happened on Tuesday. The local police chief said they are gathering evidence and looking into how it happened.
We now know the names of the injured men. They are Abbas, aged 40, Saeed, aged 17, and Amrad, aged 24. A rescue service spokesperson said the men were quickly given first aid and taken to the hospital. He added that they are now in stable condition, with most of their injuries on their legs.

Sadly, this is not the first event like this recently. Earlier this month, three people were injured in a grenade attack in Quetta. In a separate event in March, three police officers were hurt in a grenade attack on a police station in Karachi.
