Even the Xiaomi 17 Pro is Getting a Second Screen on the Back

The handset will carry a triple rear camera setup with Leica branding

Xiaomi confirmed it will unveil the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max later this month. In the days leading up to the event, multiple leaks have surfaced, including camera specifications and benchmark results.

Leaked marketing material for the Xiaomi 17 Pro appeared on X, shared by leaker Ice Universe, which essentially confirms the 17 Pro is getting a second display, much like the higher-tier Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. This secondary screen will distinguish the two Pro models from the base Xiaomi 17.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with symmetrical, narrow bezels. Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the next top-tier Snapdragon chipset to launch very soon.
