The Election Tribunal has reserved its decision on the appeal of the Provincial Election Commission against the rejection of objections on PTI Senate candidate Shaukat Tarin.

The lawyer of ANP s candidate Shaukat Amirzada told the tribunal that the voter list freezes when the election schedule is released. He said that Shaukat Tareen’s vote is not registered in the electoral roll.
Shaukat Tareen’s lawyer reacted that the voting certificate of the Election Commission is enough for the Senate.
The election tribunal reserved its decision on the appeal after arguments, which is likely to come today.
It may be recalled that ANP Senate candidate Shaukat Amirzada had approached the Election Tribunal against the nomination papers of PTI candidate Shaukat Tarin.
Moreover, Provincial Minister Kamran Bangash while talking to the media outside the Election Tribunal said that the approval of PTI candidate Shaukat Tarin’s papers in the Election Commission has been challenged in the Tribunal.
