Karachi(Sports Reporter/Website); Enough Chances for Babar’, Afridi Wants Real Surgery in Team, Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi has expressed his surprise and disappointment over the removal of Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq from the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) selection committee.
Afridi stated that he was unable to comprehend the decision, questioning the logic behind it. He further added that both Wahab and Razzaq are experienced cricketers who have a deep understanding of the game and their input would have been valuable in selecting the team. While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Afridi, 47, broke his silence over the recent removal of the former cricketers from the selection body as part of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s much needed “surgery” for the body.
Afridi, who is currently participating in the World Championship of Legends 2024 in England as part of Pakistan Champions, told reporters that he did not understand PCB’s latest move when asked about it.
Wahab Riaz Rejects Allegations of Influencing Selection Committee
