England Triumphs Over Italy to Enter T20 Super Eight
Kolkata: (Web Desk) England qualified for the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup after defeating Italy by 24 runs in the 29th match of the tournament at the Eden Gardens Stadium.
Batting first, England cricket team posted a strong total of 202 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs. Will Jacks remained unbeaten on 53, while Tom Banton scored 30, Phil Salt made 28, and Sam Curran contributed 25 runs.

For Italy cricket team, Grant Stewart and Krishan Kalugamage picked up two wickets each.
Chasing a target of 203, Italy were bowled out for 178 on the final ball of the match. Ben Manenti top-scored with 60 runs, Grant Stewart added 45, and Justin Mosca chipped in with 43, but their efforts were not enough to secure a win.
With this victory, England booked their place in the Super Eight round of the T20 World Cup after an exciting contest.
