Muzaffarabad: (Staff Reporter) The Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has released the schedule of local body elections, which will be held after 31 years.
As per the issued schedule, the polling will start on November 27 at 8 am and will continue till 5 pm. The results will be announced as soon as the polling is over.
Furthermore, the aspirants will submit nomination papers from October 14 to 21. Scrutiny of papers and first list of candidates will be released on October 22.
According to the Election Commission, the appeals will be heard from October 26 to 28 and candidates can withdraw the papers till October 29.
Moreover the final list of election symbols and candidates will be released on October 31.
