ElBaradei Condemns Trump Ultimatum Urges Immediate Global Action

ElBaradei Criticizes Trump Deadline Calls For Urgent Global Intervention

WASHINGTON: (Web Desk) – Former International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mohamed ElBaradei has sharply criticized Donald Trump over his recent 48-hour ultimatum regarding Iran. ElBaradei urged Gulf nations to step in urgently and use all possible means to prevent further escalation.

He also called on the global community, including the United Nations, the Security Council, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, as well as major powers like France, China, and Russia, to intervene before tensions spiral out of control.

Expressing deep concern, ElBaradei questioned whether any action could still be taken to prevent what he described as reckless escalation. His remarks come after Trump warned Iran to comply within 48 hours or face severe consequences, referencing control over the Strait of Hormuz in a post shared on Truth Social.
