The decision comes after a Supreme Court ruling on August 25, which invalidated their party ties in the assemblies.
Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced new party standings for the National and Provincial Assemblies, declaring that all members of the Pakistan Tehreek‑e‑Insaf (PTI) and the Sunni Ittehad Council will be considered independent.
