ECP allots election symbols to political parties
ECP dismisses plea against allotting election symbol to PTI,
Election Commission Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday allotted Election symbols to political parties for the upcoming general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
ECP allotted election symbols for the general polls to 127 political parties collectively.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s election symbol of bat, Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians’ Arrow, Pakistan People’s Party’s symbol of sword and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN)’s lion remained the same in the symbol allotment by ECP.
Meanwhile, ECP on Tuesday dismissed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) plea against allotting election symbol to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) general elections.
ECP allotted bat election symbol to PTI and Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha of PML-N requested not to allot election symbol to PTI.
ECP allotted election symbols to 127 political parties including lion to Muslim League (N), arrow to People’s Party parliamentarians, kite to MQM, lantern to ANP and bicycle to Muslim League (Quaid).
