Dry weather persists in KP, light rain expected soon
Light Rain Alert Issued in KP; Dry and Hot Weather Expected Elsewhere
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – (Web Desk) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Disaster Management Authority has issued a light rain alert for most parts of the province over the next 24 hours on Friday. The PDMA has asked all Deputy Commissioners to take precautions to avoid any damage to life or property during this period.
Meanwhile, dry weather is expected across most parts of the country during the coming week. Temperatures are likely to rise unusually in several areas in the next few days.
In Punjab, most districts will remain dry, but some areas may see light rain with gusty winds between March 9 and 11. The Potohar region, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Mianwali, may also experience light rain and cloudy skies during the same period.
Balochistan will generally stay dry and hot, but northern parts, including Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, and Kalat, may get light rain and cloudy weather from March 7 to 9.

Light rain expected in Chitral, Dir, Haripur, Karak, Kohat, Kohistan, Khyber, Kurram, Mansehra, Mohmand, Nowshera, Malakand, Charsadda, Abbottabad, Bannu, Buner, Peshawar, Swabi and surrounding areas.
Light rain and partly cloudy weather expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan and various areas of Azad Kashmir from March 6 to 11.
