
Drones Camcopters Prohibited in Islamabad for Two Months
The District Magistrate warned that drones may threaten sensitive sites and public safety.
Islamabad – (Special – Correspondent / Web Desk) – The Islamabad district administration on Tuesday announced a two-month ban on flying drones and camcopters in the federal capital under Section 144.
As per the official notification, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been restricted due to possible security concerns. The ban will not apply to law enforcement agencies or the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration.

The District Magistrate stated that drones can pose dangers to sensitive locations and public safety. This urgent step has been taken to protect citizens and maintain law and order. Anyone found violating the ban will face legal action.
