Dr Nabiha Alleges Abuse After Brief Marriage

LAHORE (Web Desk) – The short-lived marriage between psychologist and motivational speaker Dr Nabiha Ali Khan and social media influencer Haris Khokhar has ended after just two months, following serious allegations of domestic abuse made by Nabiha during a Ramadan television appearance.

Speaking emotionally during a special transmission hosted by Fiza Ali, Nabiha described her marriage as a painful chapter of mental distress and humiliation. Fighting back tears, she claimed the relationship was built on deception and said her former husband admitted he married her for publicity rather than love, allegedly intending to later tarnish her reputation.

Nabiha alleged that the early months of her marriage were marked by psychological pressure, constant suspicion, and strict restrictions. She said she was not even allowed basic privacy and was subjected to repeated accusations and emotional degradation.

According to her account, the home environment became increasingly suffocating. She also claimed that tensions with her mother-in-law worsened her situation, alleging that her husband consistently sided with his family, leaving her feeling isolated and unsupported.

Despite attempting to preserve the marriage by managing household responsibilities and making efforts to maintain peace, Nabiha said she received neither appreciation nor respect. Instead, she alleged that she was ultimately forced to leave the house in a humiliating manner and faced threats that made her fear for her safety.

She further stated that the ongoing emotional strain took a serious toll on her health, causing exhaustion and medical complications. Describing herself as emotionally shattered, Nabiha said the marriage collapsed under suspicion, verbal abuse, and a persistent atmosphere of distrust.

During the broadcast, host Fiza Ali was seen consoling her as she shared her experience. Concluding the interview, Nabiha said she would no longer remain silent and vowed to reveal what she called the “true face” of Haris Khokhar to prevent other women from enduring similar suffering.

Haris Khokhar and his family have not yet issued any public response to the allegations.
