DPM Ishaq Dar leaves for 2-day official visit to Bangladesh

Deputy PM Dar is expected to meet the country’s top leadership to discuss ways to deepen bilateral relations

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday left for Bangladesh on a two-day official visit at the invitation of the Bangladeshi government.

During his stay in Dhaka, Deputy PM Dar is expected to meet the country’s top leadership to discuss ways to deepen bilateral relations and review key regional and global issues.

According to the Foreign Office, Dar will hold important meetings with Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus and Foreign Affairs Advisor Muhammad Towhid Hussain.

Talks will focus on measures to expand cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of political, economic, and diplomatic engagement.
