Pakistan & Iran – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a call from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The DPM FM Dar Iran FM call regional peace agenda was clear — both leaders want lasting stability in the region.
The two foreign ministers talked about the latest regional developments. They also reviewed the ceasefire situation. Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts in the US Iran engagement were a key topic too.
FM Dar made Pakistan’s position simple. He stressed that both sides must keep talking. Dialogue is the only way to solve pending issues. He said engagement must continue without delay to bring peace and stability to the region.
FM Araghchi had kind words for Pakistan. He appreciated Islamabad’s consistent and constructive role in facilitating regional diplomacy. This shows the trust Iran places in Pakistan as a reliable partner.
Both leaders agreed to stay in close contact. This signals that more talks are on the way. Pakistan continues to play a key bridge role between major powers in the region.
