Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome had a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday,
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both discussed further strengthening ties between the two countries.
Both noted that it was a matter of satisfaction that relations between the two countries were heading in a right direction.
Blome and Jeelani agreed on further increasing cooperation in the fields of security and finance.
