Dollar snapped losing streak against PKR, Currency depreciated by 21 paisa against green bank

Karachi: (Business Reporter) the U.S. dollar finally snapped its losing streak against the Pakistani rupee after a fresh appreciation.

According to the details, the local currency depreciated by 21 paisa against the greenback and was being traded around at Rs218. The rupee had closed at Rs217.79 on Tuesday, according to Pakistan’s central bank data.

However, despite the depreciation, the rupee has cumulatively recovered by Rs21.94 from its record high of Rs239.94.
