The oath taking cermony of newly – elected body of Kandhkot Press Club (KPC) was held here on Saturday. Mir Gul Mohammad Khan Jakhrani Chairman District Council, president PPP district Kashmore administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers. The cermony was commenced with the recitation of verses of Qur’an Pak in the premises of Kandhkot Press Club. On the occasion traditional sindhi Ajraks and caps were presented to the guests of honor vice president district council and GS pakistan PPP kashmore district Altaf Ahmed khoso, Ameer Afzal Avesi Deputy Commissioner kashmore, Bashir Ahmed brohi SSP kashmor, Mir Rashid Khan sundrani Chairman Municipal Committee kandhkot and CMO kandhkot Masood Ahmed jatoi. The newly elected body who took oath included Pir bux Bangwar president, Imdadullah khoso senior vice president, Raja Gopi chand General secretary, Fakeer Gokal, Abdul Ghaffar Mangi vice president, Zaheer Malik joint secretary, Hussain Bux soomro deputy secretary, Ali Akbar bangwar office secretary, Nazeer mirani information secretary, Qudratullah Mirani press secretary, Ahmed Mughal chairman audit, Vicky Kumar thaakur library secretary, however Wahid bijrani and Ghulam Abbas Hashimi members for audit committee. After taking oath Ameer Afzal Avesi Deputy Commissioner Kashmore said that journalism is the fourth pillar of the country while this profession is performed with honesty, and integrity of the country and region changes. He said adding that he acknowledged the positive reporting of Kandhkot Press Club, although district administration will continue it’s full support and co – operate to over come the various issues, difficulties and challenges faced by local journalists. The event was attended by hundreds of people from all walks of life including political, social, traders, journalists, notables of city, local citizens and others.
