DG ISPR invites Imran Khan’s sons to join army and fight Khawarij

Inter-Services Public Relations Director General (DG ISPR) Lt-Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has invited former prime minister Imran Khan’s sons to join the Pakistan Army and fight the Khawarij.

During a press conference in Islamabad, the military spokesperson launched a scathing criticism of the PTI founder, saying: “Our officers and soldiers are being martyred in the war against terrorism, yet you criticise the army. Come forward and face the terrorists yourself.”

He said, “You have kept your sons abroad. Bring them and stand them in front of the Khawarij. Send your children to the army.”

The DG ISPR said that a campaign of hatred was being spread against the armed forces even though “a soldier of the Pakistan Army goes into the battlefield with his life in his hands. Who stands before the Khawarij? Who sacrifices their lives? We are the ones who have to give and take lives.”

Ahmed Sharif calls Imran Khan a ‘mentally ill person’

Lt-Gen Sharif Chaudhry described the PTI chairman as a “mentally ill person”.

He said, “This mentally ill person tweeted two days ago. His tweet was made viral within minutes by Afghan and Indian media. This mentally ill person is spewing venom against Pakistan. When we ask his party, they say they don’t know where Imran Khan’s tweets come from.”

He said, “This mentally ill person says that the army leadership which ensured Pakistan’s victory in the battle of truth should be targeted. He himself creates the narrative—only against the Pakistan Army. According to his logic, India had already defeated Pakistan on May 6 and 7.”

The military spokesperson said that the nation now clearly understands “these sick minds”, adding that there is a need to end the negative narrative. “This person repeatedly talks about Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Your political theatrics are over.”

He said the Pakistan Army has never spoken about any individual in such terms because “no political leader in the past has done what he has done.”

He added, “Their politics revolves entirely around the Pakistan Army. They think the public can be fooled, but that is not the case. It is time to tell the nation who is driving this narrative.”
