DG ISPR Highlights Education, Security in Turbat

Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry Visits University of Turbat, Engages Students

TURBAT: (Web Desk) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited the University of Turbat on Monday, engaging in an interactive session with faculty members, administrative officers, and students on education, national security, and contemporary challenges, reported 24NewsHD.

Upon arrival, the DG was welcomed by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Gul Hassan and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Kamal. During a briefing at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, the university leadership highlighted academic and research achievements, infrastructure developments, financial challenges, and plans for future growth. The contribution of University of Turbat graduates to national development was also emphasized, along with prospects for semester exchange programs with national and international institutions.

ISPR Song Honors Soldiers’ Unmatched Sense of Duty

Lieutenant General Chaudhry praised the university’s rapid progress and assured full support for its continued development. In his address to faculty and students, he discussed the role of the Pakistan Army, educators, and students in ensuring national security while addressing global and domestic challenges. He cautioned against negative narratives on social media, urging students to reject despair and focus on education and constructive engagement.

Highlighting the importance of dialogue with educational institutions in building youth confidence, the DG ISPR also planted a tree on campus. The Vice Chancellor thanked him for his visit and engagement.
