Kabul Strike Hit Taliban Ammunition Depot, Civilian Casualty Claims Denied

Rawalpindi (Web Desk) – Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry clarified that the recent strikes in Kabul specifically targeted an Afghan Taliban depot storing ammunition, weapons, and drones.

Speaking to a private news channel, he noted that the resulting explosions were visible across the city, underscoring the scale of the depot’s stockpiles.

He dismissed claims of civilian casualties, emphasizing that most Taliban fighters operate in civilian attire rather than uniforms, making such misinformation prevalent. Lieutenant General Chaudhry also revealed that the Taliban exploit drug addicts for suicide missions and asserted that the drones used against Pakistan are being supplied to the Afghan Taliban by India.

Reiterating Pakistan’s stance, he stressed that the country has no hostility toward ordinary Afghan citizens, who are effectively held hostage by these terrorist groups.
