Dengue claims another life as new cases surge in Sindh
The total number of dengue patients admitted across the province has now reached one hundred and nine.
ISLAMABAD: Another person has died from dengue fever during the past twenty-four hours, here on Sunday.
According to reports, seventy-seven new dengue patients were admitted to government hospitals across Sindh. Private hospitals also reported fifty-four additional dengue cases.
The total number of dengue patients admitted across the province has now reached one hundred and nine.
In the Karachi division, government hospitals recorded thirty-two new dengue admissions. In Hyderabad, twenty-eight new patients were admitted to government hospitals, according to the provincial health department.

A total of sixty-seven patients in government hospitals recovered and were discharged. In private hospitals, fifty-nine patients also recovered and returned home.
Government and private laboratories conducted dengue tests on 4,101 individuals. Laboratory reports confirmed that 449 people tested positive.
Karachi laboratories reported the highest number of cases, with 215 positive results. Laboratories in Hyderabad confirmed 234 positive cases.
