Defense Minister Condemns Attacks on Iran, Urges Peaceful Protests

Pakistan has extended its support to Iran, he said.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif expressed deep regret over the recent attacks on Iran, describing them as “extremely regrettable.”

He stated that Pakistan has extended its support to Iran through all possible diplomatic and ethical channels and has formally condemned the attacks at the United Nations.

Addressing the public and religious groups, Asif urged restraint, emphasizing that violent protests or taking the law into one’s own hands would only benefit adversaries. He called on citizens to ensure that demonstrations remain peaceful and to avoid unrest or property damage.

The minister stressed that national unity and stability are Pakistan’s true strength during these challenging times.
