Defence Minister Warns India of Severe Consequences if Provoked Again
“We will respond strongly to any plans India makes, just as we did before,” he said.
ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that if India attempts any provocative action again, it will face humiliation far greater than before.
Speaking to the media at the Parliament House, Khawaja Asif stated that India’s previous aggressive move had brought it disgrace on the global stage.
“We will respond strongly to any plans India makes, just as we did before,” he said. “Their current actions are driven by internal political needs and election dynamics.”
Commenting on the situation in Gaza, the Defence Minister expressed hope that the sacrifices of Muslims in Gaza will bear fruit and that a ray of hope is visible. However, he added that the final outcome is yet to be determined.
“Some things regarding Gaza are still being finalized, so we cannot make definitive statements at this moment. A Palestinian state will be established, and Palestinians will breathe freely in their own homeland,” he said.
Khawaja Asif emphasized that the world has a responsibility to support and advocate for Palestinian rights. “The global demonstrations in streets, markets, and cities show that the establishment of a free Palestinian state is inevitable.”
