Dealing with ups and downs

As everyone is quite familiar with the following fact that ‘ life obviously manifests one of the most precious gifts of Almighty-Allah’, but it is transitory—limited in time. One has to incessantly strive hard to live it meticulously, peacefully and happily.
There is no deniability in the fact that the moments of boom, contentment and proud and moments of gloom, discontentment and doldrums inclusively constitute life and exert good influence on its colours. Of course, none likes encountering with obstacles, but facing challenges is surely natural. However, they succeed by leaps and bounds who remain consistent and tolerant, while who reveal despondency and inconsistency meet everytime failures. Therefore, understanding the right way of tackling
problems is essential to spend each second in prosperity and peace.
Moreover, various problems in life should not be speculated as curse and despicable. Because most of time, they are no doubt ‘ blessings in disguise ‘, appearing unequivocally as somber, but equivocally lucrative. This can be understood with profound logical thinking and understanding. In fact, as restraints supplement in daily life, the ability to deal with ups and downs grows and in the long run developes, making one highly courageous. The problems which we face, in deed, make us stronger, more resilient and focused, apart from amplifying our will power. Undeniably, the more are we vigour in solving complicated tasks, the better will we feel in our ability to deal sagaciously with ups and downs. In addition, during involving oneself in a tough fight against myriad of hurdles, life teaches one many important lessons, elevating one’s prudence and decisions making power.
In the same way, the frequent occurrence of problems in life upholds one’s intimate connection with Almighty Allah to seek perennially His guidance and assistance in all and sundry affairs. It is sure that sublime connection with Divine forges prosperity, clamps down on many inextricable restraints and mushrooms enlightenment in life. Instead, it highly boosts our gratitude level for the things we receive each and every day. Which is a source of great pleasure and satisfaction. Therefore, in the manifestation of various barriers and downs in life, one must abstain from doing the condemnation of one’s own fate.
In life, many times, problems arise on the account of our own recklessness and mistakes. Or sometimes, they seem as an acid test from Divine. In the Holy Scripture, Quran Kareem, Almighty Allah says ” And certainly, we shall test you with something of fear, or loss of wealth, animals or fruit, but later will give you glad tidings”. This is a bare indication that turning out hopelessness is a reprehensible and condemnable act, while optimism is a virtuous deed. Therefore, one must do the perpetual execution of endeavoures to extensively equip oneself full with gratitude, strong will power, spirituality and optimism. Despite of getting disappointed with seeing black clouds, one must think that ; ‘ behind the clouds is the sun still shying ‘, ‘ some days must be dark and dreary ‘ and ‘ into each life, some rain must fall’.
Next, it is necessary to reckon that materialism is the death of spirituality, causing the generation of numerous problems, the mitigation of happiness and deterioration of gratitude. Each of us entertains hundred of desires in his/her heart, but we must; be thrived with what Sublime Allah has provided us, and refrain from underestimating our own fate. Similarly, social conditions and biological needs also give rise to problems.
There are certain steps that must be undertaken to rightly tackle problems. First, the deep understanding of problem is indispensable, based on : why, when and where problems arise? Subsequently, one should come up with a comprehensive strategy, ie, highlighting what is essential to adopt and avoid. Third is to carry out plan in practical conduct. In the thorough process , one ought to be flexible, consistent and rational. Problems must be underscored and solved with having a firm belief in God’s presence.
After this, elevating the concept of dua/prayer is extremely imperious and lucrative. It is a tool to connect yourself with God Supreme, and indeed, it seems the only instrument that changes fate. In this regard, the Holy Quran reveals various duas/prayers, ascribed to different prophets. We all are humans and weak in many ways. Even, the prophets used to face various problems.
In brief, it is imperative to keep on consistent efforts to harness gratitude, optimism and spirituality in life in order to live a bright and prosperous life: rich in blessings, poor in obstacles.
